NZ Mainco uses CostCon to grow their Canterbury operation
After the September 2010 quake, Barry Wehi, Managing Director, and his team heeded the call for assistance. Because Barry and his team were already competent CostCon users, this gave them a head start when it came to bidding for repair projects across the EQR hubs. CostCon provides the straightforward detail to ensure the Hub staff get all the particulars they need to approve a claim in one fell swoop. Any variation order is documented and detailed making it easy for Barry and his team to keep on top of paperwork.
Barry comments, “Essentially we are a small focused team and the real challenge is that this type of EQR project work is admin intensive. CostCon nails the paperwork for us. As EQR got up and running, their paperwork requirements changed frequently. Because CostCon is so flexible, we could amend the reports or schedules to suit the Hub manager on the fly.”
CostCon has freed up Barry and his team to focus on customer service, chasing new projects, building relationships with a great network of subcontractors and the all-important health & safety compliance.
